The only close-up images of Miranda were obtained by the Voyager 2 probe in 1986 and only 45% of surface were photographed with enough quality during fly-by. Unfortunately no other spacecraft has visited Uranus system and there are no new missions planned.
This object does not have a shape model yet and is being displayed as a textured tri-axial ellipsoid.
Textures are simple cylindrical projections with prime meridian at the middle, provided at the highest resolution available.
